How to Start a Movement!

February 7th, 2011

One of my favorite leadership videos! Check out this view on how to start a movement, and how important the first follower is when getting a crowd motivated.

One of the major points I take from this video is how important it is to have a core group of supporters surrounding you as you guide a group into a new endeavor or goal. As a facilitator, if you can get a couple of the participants to buy into accomplishing a group goal, the entire group will eventually come around! This is one of the benefits of successfully sequencing an activity to transition your participants into a successful initiative.
